Our Yacht

2011 Jeanneau 53

This 2011 Jeanneau 53 represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a comprehensively equipped 53-foot cruising yacht at a realistic and competitive asking price. Designed by Philippe Briand with interiors by Garroni/Premorel and Jeanneau Design, she combines elegant lines, generous volume and straightforward handling for family cruising or extended Mediterranean passages.

The yacht has a previous charter history, which is presented transparently, and has subsequently been enjoyed privately by her current owners. Her desirable three-cabin, three-head arrangement provides excellent privacy for owners and guests, while the dedicated forward storage cabin adds valuable capacity for cruising equipment, sails and water toys.

Her cruising specification includes a generator, air conditioning, an extensive solar-panel installation, bow thruster and electric sail-handling winches. The 110 hp Yanmar diesel has approximately 3,500 hours. Installed equipment makes and models not specifically identified by the owners remain subject to onboard verification.

A substantial underwater and technical maintenance programme was completed for the 2026 season. The underwater hull was stripped back to gelcoat, protected with three coats of Gelshield and one primer coat, then finished with two coats of Seajet 039 antifouling. The shaft, propeller and bow thruster were serviced; the main engine and generator were serviced; and the anchor-windlass motor was completely renewed.

The hull, deck, stainless-steel deck fittings and fixtures were washed and polished. The bimini and sprayhood were renewed in 2025. With meaningful recent expenditure already completed, a versatile owner-oriented layout and a keen seller, she merits serious consideration. Sensible offers from qualified buyers will be considered following an inspection. Viewings are available by prior appointment.
